Covid19 2020 Show Update

This year’s event has been cancelled due to virus situation affecting the running of the event. All being well the event will be back again in September 2021. Watch website for more information regarding this.

A big hi to all you ford day fans. I trust you are all keeping safe and well. As stated in my last post (on Facebook), all entries for this year’s event where not being accepted until further notice. Since then I have been in regular discussions with companies etc who assist with the running of the event as well as watching government and WHO guidance regarding this pandemic.

 

One of many problems which affects the running of the event is social distancing and due to many challenges especially the health, safety, and enforcement of this and if and when this will finally end I regret that I have no other option but to cancel this year’s Ford Day event.

 

This desicion hasn’t been made lightly by me but considering the preent situation and many other factors involved I believe that this is the right decision for everyone concerned at this moment in time and the uncertainty of the year ahead for us all. With regard to entry fees received for the 2020 event these will be refunded back as soon as possible. I trust you will all understand the difficult decision I have had to make and can assure you that this has been done with my head and not my heart. I would also like to thank you all for your support during the last 20 years of this event and I will keep you all updated regarding Ford Day Blackpool 2021.
